HRA 2019 Annual Awards

The HRA 2019 Awards will be presented at our annual Dinner on 09 February 2019 at the Burlington Hotel, Birmingham

This year we are asking for nominations for the HRA Awards - the list is lower down this page - and the process is really simple. If you have a project, or an achievement that you want to nominate, navigate to the nominations page, and just do it!

There will also be 4 awards given by the Editors of the four main railway magazines.

Apart from recognising and applauding our winners the Dinner is a really fun event, with good food and the chance to catch up with friends and colleagues.

This year, to remove some confusion, we are changing the title of our yearly awards, and the event will be called the same as the year in which it is being presented.
Therefore the awards that will be presented on 09 February 2019 are titled the 2019 Awards - they will of course will be for achievements in 2018

This year we have added an award that we believe is really important, and this will be for great achievement by a young volunteer under the age of 25. Youger volunteers are the future of our heritage, and we should be doing all that we can to encourage this sector of our volunteers. Please; if you have a suitable candidate that you believe merits an award, go to the nominations page and let us know all about them.
