Some useful tips for your stay on the Isle of Man:

If travelling from Airport make sure you say hello to the fairies when passing over the Fairy Bridge.

On the Isle of Man, longtail is a euphemism used to denote a rat, as a relatively modern superstition has arisen that it is considered bad luck to mention this word.

The cash machines at the seaport or airport dispense English Currency, whilst other may not - you can use English notes on the Isle of Man but you cannot use Manx currency in Britain.
