Infrastructure Award
The HRA Infrastructure Award
Criteria:
Awarded to an HRA member organisation who has completed an outstanding infrastructure project. The infrastructure project could include trackwork, signalling, ground works, structures, buildings, or any combination of them.
The judges want to understand how your project is supporting the long-term viability and/or development of your railway, tramway or funicular. Have there been any specific challenges that your project has had to overcome? How has the project been funded? And has it been delivered by volunteers, staff, contractors, or a combination of them?
Remember to thoroughly explain why the infrastructure project has been so important to your organisation, how long it has taken to turn into a reality, and who will benefit from its completion.
TOP TIP: It's normally easier to work on your draft submission in a text document then paste it into the submission form when you're ready. Be clear and concise, use bullet points if neccessary.

Our judging team will be in touch later this year to let you know if you’ve been shortlisted.
TOP TIP: Remember the judges might not know your railway or project, explain exactly what you mean.
Please note that any information or images provided in your submission may be published by the Heritage Railway Association in connection with the awards and their publicity.
