The Heritage Railway Association has a very small core of paid staff focusing on services for members, events and the strategic direction of the heritage rail sector. Very occasionally, opportunities arise to join the team and become a key part of the future of heritage railways, tramways and rolling stock right across the UK.
Personal Assistant and Company Administrator (part time)
Location: Home based with occasional travel within the UK
Salary: Up to £28,195pa FTE pro-rata

The Heritage Railway Association is seeking an adaptable, self-motivated candidate with a professional attitude, good humour and resilience, plus strong organisational skills and extensive administrative and office experience.
Joining our small professional team working at the heart of the heritage rail sector, in this role you will:
- Report directly to the Chief Executive who represents the company
- Manage the office and administrative functions of the company
- Be the primary point of contact for the company
- Provide admin and PA support to the Chief Exec
- Provide admin support to the board, senior management and committees
- Support and help shape the continuing development, growth and impact of the heritage rail sector
- Be working at the heart of the heritage rail sector, making new connections and potentially building your own experience across a range of activities.
