Lifetime Achievement
Criteria
This award recognises long-standing contributions to heritage rail from people who have made a significant and sustained impact upon their organisation or the sector as a whole. They could be senior figures who have led boards from the front, or they could be people with a much lower profile who have made a difference that few outside the organisation would know about.
They could be in a paid position or be a volunteer.
Your entry should:
- Explain the journey that the person has been on to reach their current level and what they’ve been responsible for.
- Explain what skills and knowledge they brought to the sector, how they’ve applied them in heritage rail and what they have achieved.
- Describe how their work with you has helped your organisation over the long-term, have they come up with new ideas, have they spearheaded a major project, or have they transformed a certain element of the whole heritage rail sector?
TOP TIP: It's normally easier to work on your draft submission in a text document then paste it into the submission form when you're ready. Be clear and concise, use bullet points if neccessary.
