The HRA Rising Star Award

The HRA Rising Star Award

The HRA Rising Star Award

Criteria:

This award recognises newcomers to heritage rail who have made a significant impact. They could be future leaders, or they may have conceived and led innovations, changes or improvement which have significantly helped your organization. Similarly, they could be an apprentice or trainee who are clearly demonstrating commitment and adding value to your organisation. Importantly, they must have joined the heritage rail sector within the past 10-years.

The judging panel want to learn more about the journey the individual has taken. How and why did they get involved in heritage rail? What skills and knowledge did they bring to the sector? Have they overcome any challenges during their journey?

Don’t forget to tell us all about the contribution the individual makes to your organisation too. What have they been responsible for? What have they delivered? And what are their indivudual successes?

The individual nominated must be part of an HRA member organisation. They may be in a paid position, or a volunteer.

TOP TIP: It's normally easier to work on your draft submission in a text document then paste it into the submission form when you're ready. Be clear and concise, use bullet points if neccessary.
