HRA Annual Awards 2026 categories
Whether you're looking to celebrate a triumphant restoration, an up and coming young person, or a marketing project that's transformed your railway or tramway, the HRA Annual Awards has a category for you.
Take a look at the list below and consider how the criteria for each category best fit. Remember that the judging panel will not have the same level of knowledge about the project, person or group that you do - make sure to explain exactly what you mean when writing your entry.
There's no limit on the number of categories a member organisation can enter. For this year's awards, entries should relate to a project completed, activities or achievements since October 2024.

Winners will be announced at the 2026 HRA Awards Evening in Llandudno on Saturday, 7 March with guest speakers, networking opportunities and a gala dinner, with drinks reception.
